The Influence of Operating Strategies regarding an Energy Optimized Driving Style for Electrically Driven Railway Vehicles

چکیده

The aim of this paper is the optimization velocity trajectories for electrical railway vehicles with focus on total energy consumption. On basis four fundamental operating modes—acceleration, cruising, coasting, and braking—energy-optimal are determined by optimizing sequence modes as well corresponding switching points. approach carried out in two consecutive steps. first step ensures compliance given timetable, regarding both time position constraints. In second step, influence different strategies, such load distribution switch-off traction components during low loads, analyzed to investigate characteristics energy-optimal trajectory. A detailed simulation model has been developed carry analysis, including an assessment its capabilities advantages. results suggest that application load-distribution techniques, either a parallel units or between active units, can affect driving style.
